Cornflower Graphic and Mary Engelbreit

I finished my new design and think I will call it "Cor nflower Graphic" because of all the lines and checks reminds me of paper, or computer stuff, or graphs of some sort. I am going to use some Mary Engelbreit fabrics to finish it. like these little designs because I can put them into any little sewing creation I want to and I love to use quilting fabrics to finish my designs, there are so many to choose from and visiting a quilt shop is so fun just like visiting the bookstore, could stay in there all day and just absorb...

Yoga bag and Love Matters Pillow

I decided to finish my "Love Matters" embroidery yesterday and use the collection of fat quarters I found to coordinate with the floss colors. I had great fun picking out a few to make a very ruffly pillow with my "Love Matters" embroidery design. I stitched it using brown and berry color flosses from Weeks Dye Works. The hand dyed embroidered flosses have really enriched the craft of needlework. I fell in love with it all over again after I started designing with those. The last stop was Barnes and Noble... there
