Poinsettia and Snowman Embroidered Towels

Redwork embroidery is really nice for the holidays.   This embroidery is done on a linen towel. You can click here for more information.

This design is embroidered on a flour sack towel.  I think it's a bit easier to embroider on the cotton flour sack towel to begin with.  This is a simple outline embroidery pattern that's great for beginners or a quick project.   You can click here for more information.

Autumn Birds Kitchen Towel

My new pattern for autumn is now available!
I used Gentle Art flosses on a Dunroven House kitchen towel.  I find those towels at the quilt shops in my area.  They may be at Michaels too and other craft shops.

I transfer my patterns using a lightbox and a #2 Micron pen or a fine Sharpie pen.  On thicker fabric like these towels that are off white the Sharpie pen works well.
